However, if it does not work, it is also possible to resort to other alternative methods such as the ones that we are going to discuss below:

  •   Drink a small amount of liquid, such as water, pennyroyal, ginger tea, chamomile, rice water, red raspberry leaf tea, or licorice root tea. Any of these drinks can be used to eliminate nausea and vomiting. Ginger is the natural substance most likely to end nausea.
  •   Drink sweet liquids. This is a way to provide sugar and mineral salts to your body. This is the case of some isotonic drinks that can help reduce the urge to vomit, such as Aquarius. What you must do is drink in small sips, until you gradually feel better.
  •   Eat something salty that is not oily or fatty. Eat crackers very slowly and in small amounts to settle your stomach. This method can be used not only after eating, but it is also convenient to end nausea caused by the movement of the car or in the case of morning sickness in pregnant women.
  •   Another way to try to get rid of nausea after eating is to breathe slowly and deeply.
  •   If you are surrounded by strong odors, such as tobacco or perfumes, try to get away from them to help stop that uncomfortable feeling.
  •   If you want to avoid nausea caused by food, avoid fried, fatty foods and acidic drinks, such as orange.
  •   Another good solution is to eat more times a day but in less quantity. Also aim for your diet to be rich in fiber to avoid constipation.
  •   It is also convenient to do some exercise. If you feel nauseous after eating, go for a walk in the fresh air and it may go away after a few minutes.

Anxiety disorders can also cause nausea and vomiting. Likewise, they can appear before any stimulus that the brain perceives as unpleasant, such as seeing blood flow from a wound.

Other disorders that cause nausea after meals

Sinusitis or otitis can also cause nausea, although it is not a very frequent thing. In otitis, localized pain and inflammation occurs, while in sinusitis, discharge and headache can lead to uncomfortable nausea.

Tumor-type diseases, strokes and acute myocardial infarctions. These diseases can lead to a picture of nausea and vomiting. In these cases, in addition to nausea and vomiting, other symptoms appear that are easy to detect:
